To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Swiss Club of South Australia in 2026, Ankle Biter Productions was tasked to conceptualize a universal playing card set, combining the traditionally used Swiss German and Swiss French suits and illustrations, allowing play of all Swiss Card Games, such as the #1 Swiss trick-taking card game Jass, as as well the Australian Card game 500's. This 76 cards card deck consists of card #2 to #13 (including creation of Swiss German Banner card #11, #12 and #13 - a world's first!), Jack/Under, Queen/Ober, King, Ace, 3 Jokers and 9 additional double-sided information cards explaining more about the supporters of this project and as well providing information about Swiss playing cards and their rules. The Swiss playing card illustrations were created by Wädenswiler Spielkarten, a boutique playing card workshop in Switzerland. Ankle Biter Productions further designed additional Jass event material, such as traditionally used Swiss playing card mats, rule flyers, various advertising material for print and social media, and pull-pp banners which included research consulting Swiss historians to create an up to date Swiss Card Map for 2026, highlighting which card game is played in which region using which Swiss suit.
